Dear Ms Eedes I would just like you to know that since a cousin of mine recommend Cecilia as an agent to handle my property in the City Bowl, I have never looked back. I bought my property in Gladiolus Avenue in 1993 after returning from working in Switzerland. I paid R238 000 – cash because I’d brought my earnings home. The erf size is 257 square meters. In 1996 I moved away from Cape Town and let my house. I mostly managed it myself from the Karoo – did have a agent for a while but she wanted to charge me for her petrol to drive from Hout Bay to check on it. I didn’t manage to make annual trips to check on the state of my properties. Although in my defence, I had a wonderful tenant for 9 years who never complained about anything. Since Cecilia has been in charge of my property, everything is perfect. Her professionalism, and ensuring my rent is paid on time is exceptional. I have had huge personal trauma and just to know she is there to solve all problems takes the weight off my shoulders regarding my property – my sole source of income lets me sleep well. Jacqui was absolutely brilliant. She was very proactive when I contacted her last Thursday evening and she immediately organized a viewing for us the very next morning. She was very knowledgeable about the house and what it had to offer and was lovely to talk to. We put in our offer to purchase straight away and she was helping us Friday night well after office hours to get everything on the offer captured correctly. I was a very nervous buyer given the demand for houses in our area and she was very comforting and supportive which help tremendously to put my mind at ease. When the buyer accepted our offer she let us know straight away as well as what the next steps would be and how the buying process would work. Getting documents from her and sending them back was effortless and very efficient! She has a lovely sense of humour and just made this whole experience exciting and memorable!
